Established 1887
For decades, families have trusted West Point Monument to create timeless memorials for their loved ones. We take the time to listen and then help you create a memorial design that is a meaningful and fitting tribute.
Our mission is to transform your love and devotion into a beautiful monument that will honor their memory for eternity.
The Work
Classic upright and slant memorials in domestic and imported granite, hand-finished and hand-lettered.
Cast bronze plaques and ornaments — durable, dignified, ideal for cemeteries that require a flush memorial.
Hand-drawn designs developed with you — etched portraits, religious iconography, family crests, custom shapes.
On-cemetery lettering, dates added to existing stones, and restoration of weathered or vandalized memorials.
A 6-foot deep concrete footing under every monument we set — so it never leans, never sinks, never moves.
Veteran memorials, parks, plaques, and community projects — built to last centuries, not lifetimes.
Our Promise To You
At West Point Monument we take pride in our work. We promise to guide you and work with you on creating a memorial that you can be proud of.
When we give you a price quotation it will include the monument design and lettering, foundation, and placement in the cemetery. We also guarantee the methods we use to set your monument in the cemetery. If your monument should ever settle or lean we will straighten it at no additional charge.
Unlike many other monument dealers, we actually install a 6' deep foundation below the monument — so that it will never lean or sink. Our experience from repairing thousands of leaning headstones installed by other companies has shown us that behind every guarantee there must be quality workmanship.
We stand behind our work: a promise you can be proud of.

Five Generations · One Promise
What began on the northeast corner of Main as West Point Marble Works — Frank & Rose Alderman, founding stonecutters — is still a hands-on family workshop today. The names on the door change. The standard does not.
